NFSP & CALDAN Communications celebrated African Heritage, Pan African Leaders Day on July 23, 2019 by giving an award for three indiviuals who impacted the community positively with their respective work at the event held at Embassy of Ethiopia, on Tuesday July 23, 2019.
The First Prestigious Ambassador Award was awarded to :
SALOME MULUGETA
An Ethiopian & Eritrean American filmmaker, actor and journalist. Mulugeta is best known for directing her first feature film Woven and winning the audience award for film directed by women of color at the African Diaspora International film festival in New York.
ERMIAS JOSEPH ASGHEDOM, known professionally as Nipsey Hussle,
He was an American rapper, entrepreneur, and community activist from Los Angeles, California.
