The Baltimore Creatives Acceleration Network (BCAN) introduced the ten Baltimore city–based ventures that will be part of the Founder Fellows program.
“ 17 fellows representing 10 unique companies making strides in all sectors of the creative economy will be taken through a rigorous series of workshops designed to fast track their success and foster homegrown economic growth. These founders are proven leaders and risk-takers, ready to change the game—and they are all based right here in Baltimore City.  BCAN
BCAN, which was spearheaded by MICA, launched last year to help entrepreneurs  to get access to resources. According to MICA's President Samuel Hoi , “B/CAN aims to build a networked system to support Baltimore’s creatives across socioeconomic, gender, generational, geographic and disciplinary boundaries.”
