Marta Ali Studios is among the creative ventures that joined the first BCAN Founders Fellowship Program The Baltimore Creatives Acceleration Network (BCAN) introduced the ten Baltimore city–based ventures that will be part of the Founder Fellows program. “ 17 fellows representing 10 unique companies making strides in all sectors of the creative economy will be taken through a rigorous series of workshops designed to fast track their success and foster homegrown economic growth. City of Alexandria Redevelopment Strategy Planning Session

Working with City of Alexandria planning commission, community stakeholders, developers, architects, and commercial property owners.This planning effort will develop strategies and identify public and private resources and tools to preserve housing affordability and diversity, including existing expiring long-term subsidies that provide deep affordability for many of the rental units in the historic Old town Alexandria. It will also explore strategies to attract new development that will strengthen the character of the neighborhood and create a more welcoming gateway to City of Alexandria.
